We are looking for a motivated and creative designer to help with the visual design of curriculum for an exciting educational program on critical thinking, problem solving, and entrepreneurship. The program will be implemented with 9th grade students in 6000+ government schools across Andhra Pradesh! This is a contract position and is fully remote.

The program is fully conceptualized and designed by an alliance of non-profit organizations, brought together by Global Alliance For Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), along with the with the help of Samagra Shiksha & SCERT- AP. The non-profit partners include lead Implementation partner Udhyam Learning Foundation and contributing partners Reap Benefit, MakerGhat, and Aflatoun International.

Dates: Immediate start, anticipated project completion in 2 months (renewable based on need and performance)

Reports to: Program Manager

CTC: 50K (for the total contract period)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Layout design of curriculum materials such as teacher guides, student worksheets, and training materials/manuals
• Develop digital designs for teacher guides, student worksheets, and promotional materials
• Develop culturally-appropriate design
• Actively work on equity and inclusion—across gender, place, and socioeconomic disparities—in all materials being developed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Design or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with curriculum design
• Experience with digital design and layout software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, etc
• Fluency in Written Telugu is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented
• Manages work well and meet deadlines consistently
• Enjoys learning from people of diverse backgrounds
