Job Summary: The ideal candidate has excellent maker facilitation skills and 3+ years of experience with makerspace, fablabs, hands-on making, education, or teaching. Applications must be based in or willing to move to Mumbai for this role. The job will involve managing a makerspace and working closely with children, particularly between 8 to 14 years of age.

The Museum of Solutions (MuSo) is a new, world-class children’s museum being developed by the JSW Foundation in Mumbai, India. MuSo’s vision is to inspire, enable, and empower children to make meaningful change in the world together, today. MuSo’s learning and engagement model is hands-on, fun, and interactive — but also focused on the real world. The museum’s programs and exhibits, inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, are designed to cultivate the knowledge, skills, mindset and actions that kids need to solve the challenges they see around them and create meaningful change in the world. MuSo will be the first interactive and immersive learning environment of its kind for children in India.
MuSo has a programming team that aims to deliver MuSo’s learning goals through engaging workshops, activities, individual and group projects that enable and empower young thinkers and makers of the city to pursue their ideas and turn them into reality.
